Brooklinen Black History Month In-Store Event
My co-lead and I organized two in-store events at our Williamsburg and West Village stores for Black History Month in under one month with a budget of less than $2K.
We partnered with Building Black Bedstuy to host an in-store market of local Black-owned businesses in order to utilize our NYC storefronts to promote and celebrate Black-owned brands.
Organization included vendor floor plans, DJ equipment rental, a raffle of Brooklinen products where all proceeds were donated to the partner, and more.
Vendors included Of the Cloth, Real Butter Bk, Brooklyn Bar Soap, Create the Culture Embroidery, Orange Juice Only Vintage, tarot card readings by Josh Jordan, and live music by @bvdhai.
